Thanks very much, Jennifer. And thanks so much for putting this on. It's been incredible to be following in the footsteps of Sylvia and Mike and John there. It's big shoes to fill. So hopefully this will go all right. I'll be talking about sort of part of a night time. I'll come on to why.

I'll give a background of sort of my writing journey first. And then I'll have 10 bullet points of things that I found that have been useful in many ways of trying to get time to write with a hectic life, maybe. So I would say my journey... Oh, sorry, I also don't have slides to show.

As part of our Oct 19, 2024 event, Seán McNicholl spoke about how he carves time to write out of his very busy schedule.

Seán McNicholl is an Irish GP who enjoys writing short stories in a variety of genres. He has been nominated for the Pushcart Prize and for the Best of the Net (BOTN) award 2024. His work has been published in Beyond Words, Raw Lit, 34th Parallel, Belfast Review, Intrepidus Ink, and Frazzled Lit, among others.
